Description

Preferences-Recent changes tab has two options that have outdated info:

"Group changes by page in recent changes and watchlist (de-activate for the "Show Wikidata" option below to work)"

"Show Wikidata edits by default in recent changes and watchlist (does not work yet with enhanced changes)"

The patch https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/355799/ fixes the issue - it was deployed in wmf.7

I think we just need to get the community to delete https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Tog-usenewrc (and similar pages).

Good catch. Sorry, I was under the impression that core was also wrong (and I thought there might be other enwiki issues), so I ended up filing a duplicate T171356: Fix enwiki (and any others we're aware of) preference override bugs.
