glam2commons: Task overview July 2017

Description

For the month of July the following tasks are on the to do list:

  • Designing a generic template for the metadata mappings.
  • Incorporating the capability to choose the suitable template from a given set of templates depending on the kind of image chosen for upload.
  • Displaying a customized form based on the chosen GLAM in the UI.
  • Implement an OOP based approach to make sure new GLAMs can be easily added to the framework.

We designed an OOP approach and implemented the same. Metadata mapping etc has been taken care of as part of our OOP approach. We have only one form for all GLAMs and this makes the app even simpler.
