restbase-dev1003 stuck after reboot
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

restbase-dev1003 is inaccessible after a scheduled reboot, possibly needs flea power drained.

Event Timeline

Is this a hardware issue of some sort?

Yes, it's a hardware issue. That happens occasionally, usual fix is to disconnect from power for a bit, but that needs dc ops involvement and Chris is out this week,

Ok, that explains "...needs flea power drained."; Thanks @MoritzMuehlenhoff

Looks like this was still offline via networking, so it required a full power drain by onsite and reboot. Its now back.

The NIC did not come back after your reboot...I had to power off and reset it. It's backup again. This server is old and worn out and only has 1 good power supply. I highly recommend not rebooting it again. The new restbase-dev servers are ready for migration next week.

Thanks, confirmed working fine. Due to the power off it picked up the new kernel, so another reboot won't be necessary.
