Over the last few days, I've been trying to login to my Wikipedia account but haven't been successful. I either get returned to the page where I clicked "Log In" (with no visible signs the login process was attempted), or I get an error message that says "no active login session" is in process (or words to that effect). The user account name I'm trying to use is "Ontyx". I have not logged into this account for perhaps 2.5 years, but I can still search for it and see the list of contributions and talk under the account, so it still exists. I do not think I have any problems with my cookie settings. I have tried using Firefox on two different computers, plus Chrome on one of the computers, but still cannot login.

I have resorted creating this temporary account ("Ontyx-reboot") in order to report this problem. The fact that I was able to create a new account and use it to log into Phabricator seems to suggest that there are no problematic hardware/software issues on my side.

How do I get back into my original Ontyx account? Should I send some proof that I am the legitmate account owner?
