Huggle for eswiki does not seem to display the warning levels in the queue of edits
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I did a minor update (still a lot to do!) in the configuration page for eswiki for Huggle. That is, I changed what Huggle should be looking for when parsing the user talk page of warned users and added it to Huggle templates. It seems (need to check if this is working in a large scale) that now it is correctly sending the leveled warning messages, but when it comes to the queue of edits inside Huggle, I no longer see the 1, 2, 3 icons displaying that the user has already been warned. I am not sure if we need to do something else from eswiki or now it depends on Huggle code. Thanks.

Hi,

Does it mean it worked and now it doesn't? If that is the case I recommend reverting your changes.

Otherwise, keep in mind you not only need to add signatures of huggle templates, you need to add signatures of as many templates as possible. It can by anything, even the icon of template. If there is no signature in message huggle doesn't know it's a template.

Last time I did heavy Huggle patroling was with version 0.9.0, too long ago, but I remember that by then it worked and do not recently in the Huggle 3x version. I'll see if your changes fixes the issue (thanks for them! · that's the old syntax we've used and thought it was erroneous); I wonder why Huggle do not like the <!-- hidden data --> to the templates, at least on enwiki it seems to work.

it doesn't have problem with that but it does have problem with missing comma you forgot on end of line ;)

we plan to move to yaml parser in future so all config files will get update

always those commas I miss... I'll test later and will update you on the results.

Petrb claimed this task.

newer huggle has YAML support so there will be no more issues with commas ;)

Good. Thanks for your assistance. I'm looking forward to use the newer version :)
