Not getting an email when someone updates a page I'm watching?

Description

I've had the impression for a while that I don't get an email when a page I'm watching is edited. Now I (think I) got proof, since I edited with my volunteer account 2 pages I follow with my staff one. I got an email for the first page but not for the second.

I edited WP:Richieste_tecniche and WP:Malfunzionamenti. The latter correctly triggered an email at 9:01 PM. The former never did.

https://it.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia%3ARichieste_tecniche&type=revision&diff=88738962&oldid=88666367 is the last edit that triggered an email for me, I edited that page with staff account afterwards, no other emails.

Ideas?

This is a duplicate of T29884: enotif doesn't send email if page on watchlist edited following a minor edit and enotif not configured to send minor edits., a bad bug.

In both cases, it happened after a minor edit: https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Reading/Web/PDF_Functionality&diff=2507197&oldid=2500369 and https://it.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Richieste_tecniche&diff=next&oldid=89261767 .

I put up a patch for T142727: Set $wgEnotifMinorEdits true throughout WMF, and instead use $wgDefaultUserOptions['enotifminoredits'] that will at least let you workaround the buggy behavior. It should be deployed tomorrow.
