The names are provided by the CLDR extension, presumably a few languages we support are missing there.

Probably we can get language names from IANA registry if CLDR does not have one, but ko-kp and be-tarask need special handling.

After https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/367332/ I see only 2 languages in native script: "mo":"молдовеняскэ" and "ko-kp":"한국어 (조선)"}. Can you confirm this?

Btw: What is ko-kp for a variant of Korean?

I'm also wondering how peoples under Kim Jong-un's rule can visit Wikimedia projects. Anyway, I'm really confused that why there's users still support keeping "mo"?

You mean, ko-kp is a code for North Korea?

Looks like 'mo' in cyrillic is still in use today in the Moldovan region of Transnistria.

At a glance yes, unless there are some native language names in Latin-based scripts sneaking somewhere in the middle of the list. Thanks!

The last patch for T151269 should fix the two remaining missing names.

(Note that this already doesn't affect Commons, because UploadWizard now uses UniversalLanguageSelector for this menu, if it is installed.)
