Rachel: Quick overview of announcements, changes, and logistics
Most of the hour will be given to participants of the hackathon to use as an "open mic" where they can pitch their projects and ideas to other participants. Notes will be taken on this etherpad ( https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/Wikimania_Hackathon_17_Opening ) and posted back to this task after the opening so that participants can find each other.

We listened to your feedback from previous hackathons and will be keeping the opening / logistics very short and to the point.
Open mic will promptly end at the end of the hour, however anyone who did not get to speak can add their projects / ideas to the etherpad.
