It would be nice to have some things that happen via Striker relayed to irc or other places. When most things were done via wikitech.wikimedia.org this could be accomplished by polling the recent changes feed and bots like snitch that looked for certain kinds of changes. Striker could replace this with either a direct push to irc or a changes feed of some kind. It seems like a changes feed is more flexible/scalable.
