Open, MediumPublic

Description

Screenshot is easier to understand than text, so screenshot first.

"own""not own"

Untitled.png (1×1 px, 138 KB)

(Obscured URL: this for not own, this for own.)

When you select "This file is my own work.", then you select "The license is described by the following wikitext (must contain a valid copyright tag):", no wikitext box appears.
However, when you select "This file is not my own work.", then "Another reason not mentioned above", the correct wikitext box appears.

This appears to be due to a misconfiguration of the ko upload campaign. Revi, I see you're the Upload Campaign Editor and it looks like you copied this from a previous campaign? If so, that original campaign probably had this bug.

If this is something that *used* to work but stopped, please let us know. Otherwise, since upload campaigns are by their very nature something other than the default behavior of UploadWizard and are up to the users who create them, it's kind of hard for us to control how they work.

Edit: accidentally posted a draft before I was done.

Hmm, I think I didn’t give you full info. The one it works is the default/ko, but the one which isn’t working is Campaign:Wlm-kr. Sorry for that.

So basically, when I put ‘custom’ in ‘own work’ classification (as in Wlm-kr) it doesn’t work, but when I put it on ‘not own work’ (as in default/ko), it works. (Mobile now, and I don’t want to boot my PC just to check this when I was about to go to bed. If needed, I can test it tomorrow.)

This still looks like a misconfiguration during creation of the campaign (i.e. user error), but just to be sure we'll have a developer look at it and see if there's a deeper problem.

OK, I realized I messed some important stuff.

Two images are about two different upload wizard campaign. The one using "own" does not show any custom license bar https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:UploadWizard&campaign=wlm-kr but when you try it with https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard?campaign=ko (1) with "not own work" and then "The license is described by the following wikitext (must contain a valid copyright tag):", there's inputbox, like F12765697. < does not appear on wlm-kr.

(1): wlm-kr has no "not own" option
