Translate deprecated edit-review search parameters so they work in the new UX
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

A number of parameters from the old system do notwork properly in the New Filters UX. Our approach will be to translate these so that the user is unaware of the problem and, because she sees the new UX terminology displayed, the user gradually learns the new UX functions and lingo. Here are deprecated parameters and their translations, as best as I can figure.

hideanons

"hideanons" should be translated to userExpLevel=registered

hideliu

"hideliu" should be translated to userExpLevel=unregistered

hidenondamaging

The ORES preference “Show only likely problem edits” now works in combination with the "Prediction threshold" setting. I.e., what counts as "nondamaging" in the new UX depends on where you set your threshold. I don't want to look up the actual url parameters for the filter names, so I'll just specify the filter names.
Translate hidenondamaging as follows:

  • Prediction Threshold = “May have problems” Activate filter, "May Have Problems" .
  • Prediction Threshold = “Likely have problems” Activate filter, "Likely Have Problems".
  • Prediction Threshold = “Very likely have problems” Activate filter, "Very likely have problems". [DONE]
