Problem: As a Wikimedia tech ambassador/community liaison/helpdesk responder/product owner/etc, it is difficult to check what the current browser compatibility restrictions are.
We have https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Compatibility for MediaWiki, but there isn't an obvious place to list the Wikimedia-specific compatibility notes, such as https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/HTTPS/Browser_Recommendations and crucial extension compatibility notes, and anything else (??) there might be.
Someone needs to:
- pick a page/wiki location
- decide (if a new page) how much to summarize/duplicate from [[mw:compatibility]]
- add a summary of the HTTPS compatibility notes
- add a summary of the https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/VisualEditor/Target_browser_matrix compatibility notes (and nudge any needed updates)
- search for similar pages, and consider how to handle each
- document the task of updating the location in the future, as part of standard team workflows
