We've never released a git tag for kartotherian, nor for most of its submodules. This should be done so we have specific versions we can refer to without needing to use git commits.
@Yurik, do you happen to have a bunch of git tags in your repo that have never been pushed?

I have been actively using versions in all of the submodules. In theory, every commit changing the version number should be a tag, but i haven't used.
