Why are we doing this?

Apple has released updated versions of a number of their native apps along with the release of iOS 11. These updated apps include slightly modified icons, with heavier line weights and more filled in geometric shapes. Additionally the HIG (https://developer.apple.com/ios/human-interface-guidelines/icons-and-images/custom-icons/) now states that icon state should be illustrated by color and not filled / un-filled presentations of icons. This would require us to 'fill in' the save icon and to show that an article has been saved just through color.
