The thought is that people want to see non-automated edits, because often the use of (semi-)automated tools makes these hard to identify. Beyond the ambiguity, is there a use-case for wanting to see just the automated edits?

Perhaps we could make the numbers under the "Count" column to be links, that when clicked will show contributions using that tool in a new section. Clicking on the "Total" count would show all automated edits. I don't really like the idea of listing automated edits by default, because again I'm not sure how much that information is truly desired, and we don't want to unnecessarily slow down the user experience.

Hmm, I would not think to go to "Automated Edits" to see the "Non-automated edits" as it seam s counter intuitive. I guess it depends what tool your considering, but I would most want to look at peoples automated edits to check out concerns or interests with those edits. If your looking at tool use by a new user, or a new user to that tool, or a user going for RfA you want to know how they use those tools. Maybe to be efficient as most times people probably do not want to see the edits have links to show latest automated and non-automated and thus only generate when required?

Yeah I agree it may seem like a bit of a misnomer. "Automated Edits" should probably say "Automated Edits Counter", as that is what it does.

We can look into adding link(s) to list automated edits. Hopefully making the counts themselves links will be intuitive enough.
