Description

Opening for example this page: https://it.wikivoyage.org/w/index.php?title=Test2&action=edit
I've noticed that in any wiki I've tried the cursor is not positioned anymore in the edit area forcing the user to click on it with the mouse and only after will be able to start writing in it

Unfortunately this report lacks some information. If you have time and can still reproduce the problem: Please add a more complete description to this report - is this about the traditional wikitext editor? VisualEditor? Or the 2017 wikitext editor? Does this happen in any browsers? WHich ones did you try?

Sorry, @Aklapper you are right, I was in rush.
It happens anytime with traditional wikitext editor using either Chrome, IE and Firefox (last versions).

Focus has been not restored. It's so difficult the regression of this bug?

@Andyrom75: Nobody knows as judging how "difficult" this is requires someone to have time to investigate.
This task is not high priority. Anyone is welcome to investigate - your help is welcome.
