From OTRS .. "I see that Wikipedia look for not being exclusive and allowing in the same article the appearance of all variations of a word, and I always liked that.
But recently this have been somewhat annoying, because these variations mostly are in the introduction of the article and the rest of it tends to one variation, which I find bad when I have to read all the time terms from Portugal where in Brazil they are not equal.
Worst is when both forms of a word are included, and although the initiative is cool, reading turns to be clumsy.
What I suggest is that somewhere in the app a button be put so the user can switch how words are written. So, for example, I can put it to brazilian version and see the word "umidade", but then if I'm from Portugual, I can switch to its version and see "humidade". If I'm from Brazil I see "ônibus espacial", and if I'm from Portugal I see "vaivém espacial".
Of course, I'd say that, if such thing us implemented, maintaining the introduction differing all variations or in an etimology part explicit the same."
