Option to have MultiBoilerplate not overwrite content of existing pages
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

I have setup the MultiBoilerplate extension on my wiki installation. (MediaWiki 1.29.1 from Microsoft Web Installer Platform on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard).

Right now it is overwriting the content of the page if it already exist, could there be an option that we could turn on in the localsettings to not overwrite but add the content where the cursor is ?

Thanks !

Hi Charles,
It seems like you are looking for the functionality of Extension:BoilerRoom. Maybe it fits your use case better?

Hi,

Yes it definitely look like this is what I was looking for. I installed it but I'm looking for a little more documentation as to how to populate the BoilerRoom.

I want it to load multiple templates of infoboxes.

Do you know how I could do that easily ?

Thanks !

Charles

Hi Charles,
I'm not really familiar with BoilerRoom, as I've never needed that functionality myself.
