Hi, a few days ago my phone failed and I had to reset it from the factory, because of that I lost the application provided by the 2FA codes to log in to Phabricator. Right now I can't deactivate 2FA by myself in Phabricator and I fear losing access to my account if the session is closed, and since recovery codes are not provided here as in MediaWiki, I have no way to remove 2FA from my Phabricator account. I hope you can help me. Thanks!
Basically there is https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator/Help/Two-factor_Authentication_Resets and I see a user committed identity on https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:AlvaroMolina
@Aklapper I followed that page before arriving here, however, the procedures on that page are outdated since, for example, the link in the second step does not work. On the other hand, I have a Committed Identity on my user page in Meta, I do not know if it is possible to do anything with that.
Meh. I'm sorry for all the hassle. I've edited https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator/Help/Two-factor_Authentication_Resets#Steps_to_request_a_multi-factor_authentication_reset again and tested this with my private/"normal" account.
Thanks! more foo | sha512sum with foo being P6383 worked so I've strippped 2FA.
