When a map is inserted the article goes greyish and all the page become inactive.

True that. I can't give a link because I can't save any page when I try to insert a map. BUT, important thing, is happening only in Firefox, not in Chrome or Edge. I'm using Firefox Quantum 57.0 64 bits and logged in. And it happens only when I try to insert a map WITH a layer (a line or a polygon). You can see it NOT happening in my user sandbox, for example: https://eu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lankide:Theklan/Proba_orria
