The errors were due to totalInteractionTime being logged as null.

My read of that comment is that this task blocks T180356: Popups EventLogging events occasionally invalid. Being bold, I'll formalize the relationship. Feel free to undo my changes if this is not the case.
FTR Readers Web estimated this as a 3 during today's "Backlog grooming - all team edition" meeting. Relatedly, I've been unable to reproduce this bug in Chrome@62.0.3202.94 – I'm seeing dwelledButAbandoned events with their totalInteractionTime property set to a positive integer.
aww geez. Now I can't reproduce this either. Let me see if I can recreate the magic otherwise i'll decline this and go back to the drawing board.

We discussed this elsewhere earlier today, but just for the record so that it doesn't cause confusion later:
The example request URL listed in the task description is for a pageLoaded event. These are actually meant to come without a totalInteractionTime value (which is marked as not required in the schema).
