Recover "SQL" svn account for use as a modern developer account
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Previously had an SVN user - "SQL", when I try to create an LDAP account, I get "Username is already in use or invalid."

Trying to reset my password gives: "There is no user by the name "SQL". Usernames are case sensitive. Check your spelling, or create a new account."

The existing LDAP record for uid=sql,ou=people,dc=wikimedia,dc=org is very similar to the one from T180813. The record was created 2010-10-15T00:45:57Z and has no mail attribute. I think I can fix it in that same way that the Flominator account was fixed.

No, nothing more needed from you. I just need to find some time to update the LDAP record and attach the account to wikitech. I'll try to get it done this week.

@SQL you should be all set. You can use https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:PasswordReset to get access and reset your password.

Worked like a charm, thank you!
