Description

Why are we doing this?

Adding a scroll view creates an additional affordance for users to scroll through an article and view their progress

Proposed design

Add a scroller / scrubber to the article view so that users can see their progress through the article as they scroll.

Interestingly, despite the HIG screenshot, Apple auto-hides scroll indicators system-wide - Safari, App Store, Notes etc.

iBooks keeps a (custom) scroll indicator onscreen
