Displaying thumbnail of svg file fails

Description

SVG file c:File:Map_of_Texas_highlighting_Anderson_County.svg (and other svg locator maps) are not shown in articles.

File usage list (c:Special:GlobalUsage/Map_of_Texas_highlighting_Anderson_County.svg) shows many pages, but the thumbnail is not visible there.

The original doesn't seem to want to render either viewed straight in Chrome https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/dd/Map_of_Texas_highlighting_Anderson_County.svg

It does, it's just ginormous and mostly white/transparent, so you need to know where to scroll to:
