Hi,
Can you, please, create a mailing list for the WikiIndaba conference attendees.
We organize the conference this year in Tunisia and the mailing list will be administrated with organizers from the Wikimedia TN User Group.

wikiindaba@lists.wikimedia.org

  • Reasoning/explanation of purpose:

Serve as the main and official source of WikiIndaba conference information/updates

Should this be publicly accessible and publicly archived?

No, as we will share on this list some security updates and private information (from organizers) the list should be not accessible and not publicly archived.

I've gone ahead and created the list. Due to mailman2 limitations, please be aware that habib.mhenni@gmail.com will have received 2 password emails for this list, while the remaining admins only received one. habib.mhenni@gmail.com should disregard the one with the earlier timestamp, as it is no longer valid, when the second email went out with the new password for everyone.

I've set it up to require confirmation and approval before anyone can join the list. It has all 4 emails as list admins, and has the archive set to private.

Since this now is done, I'm resolving this task.
