Start a new email list called 'Collaboration-Team' (and discontinue the old 'E2' mailing list)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

There is an email list called "E2" for the "E2 development team." The address is e2@lists.wikimedia.org. No such team (the former Editor Engagement team) exists anymore, but the Collaboration Team has been using that list as our mailing list. This has various disadvantages. In particular, the list name is completely mysterious and undiscoverable by anyone who may wish to email Collaboration Team.

I am reliably informed (thanks James!) that renaming lists is not really a thing. So let's just deprecate or forget the old E2 list and start a new one called Collaboration-Team

Please make Joe Matazzoni and Roan Kattouw the admins. Thanks!

You have successfully created the mailing list collaboration-team and notification has been sent to the list owner jmatazzoni@wikimedia.org. You can now:

Visit the list's info page
Visit the list's admin page

@jmatazzoni The list has been created. You should have received an automatic mail with an initial password to log into the admin page linked above.

I have changed nothing from defaults besides the description field and adding the second admin. All other settings are up to you.

Please note that the secondary admin has not received the password yet, you should optionally change it to something else and then share it with him.
