Enable Lucene 2.1 for all remaining wikis again
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: Wiki.Melancholie

Description:
Enable Lucene 2.1 for all remaining wikis (non-enwiki).

Bug 16157 seems fixed, see https://wikitech.leuksman.com/?diff=17618&oldid=17612 (hardware had been missing was said when disabling Lucene 2.1 back in October, almost 2 months).

Please communicate what the remaining problems are, if any.

It looks like we would need to order some more RAM and possibly other hardware to have all wikis migrated. As of today the following (major) wikis are migrates:
enwiki, dewiki, frwiki, jawiki, itwiki, ruwiki, svwiki, nlwiki, plwiki, ptwiki, eswiki, zhwiki, nlwiki.

Although this is not the proper place, do you know why
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezial:Suche?search=Ballett&fulltext=fulltext
doesn't show [[de:wikt:Ballett]] on the right anymore?

Also http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezial:Suche?search=verbal+agreement&go=article ([[de:wikt:verbal_agreement]]) e.g.
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezial:Suche?search=Haus&fulltext=fulltext works.

Is this another hardware issue (bug 16157), or shall I open another bug for this?

rainman wrote:

No, it's not a hardware issue, something is broken in interwiki indexing.

Could you please re-announce what improvements this affords us? wikitech-l and foundation-l would seem appropriate.
