Description

In order for the analysis in the parent ticket to work, please do the following:

For all searches

  • within the Wikimedia cluster
  • executed through a web request
  • executed from the special page Special:Search

Track their existence, and note whether

  • this search was executed from Special:Search and the user has AdvancedSearch enabled or not

  • it seems there is no way to differentiate between human and bot from the Cirrus search requests table;
  • it seems there is no way to differentiate between whether the user had the AdvancedSearch enabled or not.

Could you please be more specific about what you mean by

"within the wikimedia cluster"
