Two questions about handling middle name or initial data during dedupe processes:
- Would it be possible to add the Middle Name field by default (& as an editable field in which to add data) to the merge interface? It would save us the separate step of manually adding the middle name or initial after the merge. Because the banners do not have any optional fields like middle name, we see lots of dedupe record pairs where one First name will have a middle initial tacked on, and the other will not:
- The Contact View and the Edit views for any given CID do not match. You only can see if there is a middle name or initial in the Edit view:
It would be helpful if the Contact View displayed the same data as the Edit view, to enable agents to see the middle name details without the extra step of clicking into Edit.
