Device and App specs: Wikipedia app 2.7.222-amazon-2017-12-15

I have a Kindle Fire. Whenever I try to open an external link in the Wikipedia app, or
even the page that shows the page edits, I get the following message: "Could not display
this link". I can't find any settings that would seem to be causing this issue, and a web
search doesn't help either. What's going on?

Checked on prod and alpha... and couldn't reproduce on my kindle fire.

Looks good based on some testing from @Sharvaniharan and other with Kindles.
