Please add preferences to show (or hide) the option "logged-in users"/"bots"/"redirects" per default on Special:NewPages like the preferences for watchlist or recent changes

Hmm, still some room under the RC preference tab. Hide patrolled might be useful I guess.
The Special:newpages is a part of RC and so the preference can add to that tab, that's ok.
To complete bug 16969 a option for patrolled edits is needed.
I reopen this bug, because with r45857 only 'newpageshidepatrolled' where added and the other option are still missing.
I think the option can useful for small wikis, the same as bug 7039.

Change hardcoded defaults from SpecialNewpages with preferences
The attached patch added user preferences for the options on Special:NewPages.
On the preferences page two new sections are added. One for Special:RecentChanges options and one for Special:NewPages options.
Feel free to modify.

change abandoned, because (so many) new preferences are not assisted by mediawiki developer
Looks like new preferences will not get accepted, so no need to keep this bug open. Mabye the preferences will be added, when there get saved directly from the special page, but that can be done along with that fix, see bug 31881 for that.
