Next page link should be before Other projects widget in the search page
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

The problem is the current order of the page elements displayed when searching in "containing ..." mode:

  1. "Page xxxxxx has been found."
  2.  the list of the first 20 results
  3. "Results of sister projects"
  4. "See (20 previous items | next 20 items)

When there are many brother projects ( #3), we waste time finding the link to the rest of the results and a beginner won't even notice that there is a next page! Try a common word like "lion" or "green".
The order should therefore be this:

  1. "Page xxxxxx has been found."
  2. the list of the first 20 results
  3. "See (20 previous items | next 20 items)
  4. "Results of sister projects"

Framawiki updated the task description. (Show Details)

Since T181287 is fixed, this is now only relevant when the window width is less than approx. 720px.
And this isn't specific to Timeless, its the same for the other skins in similarly small windows.

There is a more global redesign of the search result page that is needed. This will be addressed as part of it.
