Now that we are exposing multilingual data, we can expect that more Wikimedians will want to add names in their own language to OpenStreetMap. Here is one user, who has encountered this difficulty.

What is the easy way to localize a name in OSM? Is there any plans? Many places doesn't have Bengali localization, so last week i tried to have add some Bengali name. We don't want to reproduce the OSM documentation, lest our help get out of date when they make changes. I'm thinking more in terms of a specialized briefing for Wikimedians, along with links to the best docs on OSM.
