Description

Feature requested:

As a user, I want to have pages in Draft namespace included in the calculations for Event Metrics.

Functionality/software changes

Add namespace 118 and other applicable Draft namespaces into the queries where we grab Page IDs
Ensure that nothing fails if there are no matching Page IDs in the Draft namespaces

User interface changes

Should we let the users know that Draft pages are included? Should it be optional with a checkbox or something?
Show number next to existing number in bracket to begin with. 7 (5 drafts).

Does this need QA?

Yes, to ensure there are no regressions and that Drafts are included in the metrics.

@Shouston_WMF Thoughts on this ticket? Currently only Mainspace pages are included in stats.

Notes from our meeting a couple weeks back (I forgot to publish the draft (is that a pun?)):

Sati mentions that African communities use this a lot (Florence mentioned it)
Implications on English are big.
But all wikis don't always have drafts. Some work in sandbox. We'll need to take that into account.
- Maybe let event organizer pick?

I don't know what we can do here. I suspect organizers will still permit their participants to edit in the mainspace, since they can.

Yeah, I envision a checkbox below each wiki in the Event form, "Include Draft namespace". This would only be shown for wikis that have a Draftspace.
