@MaxSem It needs a section for the config options.

My gut feeling is that we should have an easier way to enable and disable the bot on various projects. We might get asked to do trial runs on other projects and having to make a commit for every time we want to do that is more complex than it should be. I was thinking of something along the lines of what popular pages bot has. That's not a part of this ticket but I wanted to get your opinion on it.

I personally like to keep everything in one place. That includes keeping configs in a real VCS.

That makes you, as the maintainer, as the single person who can control this. So in case the bot goes rogue on a wiki while you're asleep, there's not much anyone can do about it.

Ehm, if a bot malfunctions, nobody's gonna investigate how to shut it down properly, they will simply block it.

For this task #4 from the deliverables is left.

@MaxSem Hi, a question a little off topic but I ask myself, why don't you use Gerrit? All foundation code is hosted on it, and ie. would allow it to be more easily maintained by PWB devs when code needs to be modified.

Hi @Framawiki. Max has started that discussion in T197272: Move Community Tech bot into Wikimedia source control. Please chime in there. Thanks.

What do you mean killed the rest of them? Which settings died and why?
