Hi, this is expected as some of the tests on certain repos lint the commit msg.

It is also necessary when adding or removing Depends-On: lines from the commit message

[This is a CI config issue, not Gerrit (though that's where you see it ;) )]

Some tests do need to be run but maybe they could be done more efficiently (only the ones required eg commit-msg-checker and if depends-on changes).

@greg I think that you should close this as duplicate instead of my earlier created T186032 because has more details and meets the rules of reporting the bag.
