Currently every paragraph which needs to be merged has an explanation above the radio buttons. User feedback has shown this is noted as a redundant information. Therefor only show this once at the very first paragraph which needs merging.

I suggest to rename the button "Please select a version".
Reasoning: Selecting implies "choosing carefully" and also means "marking something on a computer screen", and both meanings apply here.
