How to model the continuity of a single project which is divided in reality in more projects "administratively".
Open, MediumPublic

Description

Looking at the draft proposal for the model of project funded by grant: https://github.com/shexSpec/schemas/blob/master/Wikidata/research_funding/project_with_grant_shape.shex, we are not sure how to model a single project that in reality is devided in more project "administatively"

Event Timeline

Example project is WikiPathways which is running for over a decade and has been (partially) funded by multiple by multiple funders. Sometimes in parallel, sometime in sequence

In the (corrected) draft proposal in github each <project_with_grant> has an inception time (when it was submitted, if the data is available), a start and an end time (when the project actually started and when it finished). Each project can benefit from/use (P2283) one or more <grant>, each of which has its own start time and end time. So a project in the model draft can run for a long time and use different grants also in parallel.

What I see as potential question is: what if a project changes tile/subject/similar thing keeping the same name? Should we still consider it the same project?
