Description

Proposed enhancement based on feedback from user testing in T192891

Problem

New users who skip onboarding from the first screen may not discover the new feature enabling multiple app languages

Proposed solution

Amalgamate the first and second screen into one step so the languages option is the first screen shown for new users.

The 'ADD OR EDIT LANGUAGES' button is barely accessible in landscape mode on my Galaxy j1 ace (5.1.1).

This one is working for me on 2.7.235-alpha-2018-06-25

I am not seeing the issue with landscape mode, but I don't have that exact platform. It looks like this on Hauwei Honor Android 7.0 and Motorla MotoX Android 5.1

I still see this happening in the latest alpha (2.7.236-alpha-2018-06-25) on a Samsung Galaxy j1 ace. The screen size is a little less than the ones you tested in. It's a 4.3" phone (9.4cm*5.6cm, to be precise). It's even worse for other languages like Tamil. The button is not visible at all.

From my observations, I think reducing the font size for smaller screens would solve the issue. Moreover it might even make it look more appealing.
