Description

Edit summary's length is currently limited to 255 bytes on translatewiki.net.

It may not be that bad for summaries written in English, but there are some languages where each character takes 2 bytes or even more, and thus the maximum allowed length for summaries written in these languages is way more limited than English.

Therefore, I suggest to increase this limitation from 255 bytes to 500 characters (this is the same as all Wikimedia wikis, see T188798).
