@fgiunchedi: can you confirm these are ready for reclaim and disk wipe? I claimed it, but I likely should have checked with you first!

Yes confirmed, graphite200[12] are ready to be wiped/decomd

Please don't proceed with decom for now; Filippo uses graphite2001 for prometheus 2 tests and I'm using graphite2002 for some buster tests.

Ok, I'm assignign this to Mortiz until these systems are ready for decom. Please unassign when you are done! Filippo please comment when you are done with 2001!

I'm done with both graphite200[12], good to go on my end

These are now ready to be wiped/reclaimed as spares.

The current state of these servers is inconsistent with the task description; I was wondering why graphite2001/2002 were not in puppetdb despite the checkboxes not ticked. Digging in spicerack logs, the decom cookbook was run on these on 2019-08-23, but e.g. only 2002 is removed from site.pp. Taking the task to clean these up.

Turns out there was a separate task for graphite2002 (https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T200210), so I'm removing 2002 from the task summary.

MoritzMuehlenhoff renamed this task from Return graphite200[12] to spares pool to Return graphite2001 to spares pool.Oct 15 2019, 8:08 AM

For graphite2001 there's also a separate decom task in https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T200209, there are remaining Puppet references, though.
