Description

Steps to reproduce:

Expected behaviour: The content occupies the whole screen width (or at least enough width to show the longest line)

Actual behaviour: The content occupies the same width as one half of the "Side By Side" view

Did you enable "Fit to screen" in the preference?

Thanks, that solves it for me - is there any way that can be the default (at least for Unified)?

Solved by setting Fit to screen in ones user preferences (click the cog icon while viewing a diff). The Upstream issue is still open if one wants to push it forward and the have Gerrit default behavior to be changed.
