When you install for instance the ConfirmAccount extension, you get the message "Warning: this extension requires a database update to work correctly!".

This messages is always send even when the database update did take place. For this extension two files need to be created. The problem is that it scares the hell out of simple administrators like me.

The only problem that I see is that you need to check this for every database manager in a different way.
