Add a default edit summary for section 0
Closed, DuplicatePublicFeature

Description

Author: circeus

Description:
It would be nice if editing the intro/lead of an article (i.e. with the appropriate option turned on) gave a default summary of some sort. I know it doesn't need to be linked and hence seems unnecessary, but it would still be a nice little feature that would remove a slight inconsistency.

I'm not sure if this is what carrick meant, but when I saw this bug, I thought he was referring to something like the "/* Section title here */" that shows up by default whenever you edit a section. (The thing that shows up with an arrow and a link for you to click on in the history page.)

Yes, exactly. Currently (IIRC) if I edit an intro section and do not add a specific summary, the edit summary is blank, while any section will have at least an indication which section was worked on.

editing section 0 doesn't exist in the UI natively, so isn't this blocked on T2156?
