Hello. I think it could be very helpful, if you could convert the interface language drop-down list in global preferences into two such lists - one for LTR wikis, another for RTL ones. The ltr wikis with rtl interface look unreadable, and vice verca. An rtl user will never set enwiki interface to rtl, because it will not work. And an enwiki user, for example, that speaks Arabic, will prefer rtl interface on Farsi wikis, even they use en on all the rest. I believe there should be two lists with the same language options, one for ltr wikis, anothef for rtl. It should not cost much complexity. For now, I set en on global, and made it he as local exception on rtl wikis I use, including my own hewiki. Thank you.

@IKhitron I agree this is a valid pain point of the current functionality. However, this is a big challenge to implement from a technical standpoint. My guess is that there are not many users active on so many wikis that they cannot use local overrides for this purpose, like you did.
