[Request] Make Timeless link colours darker
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The link colours in Timeless are currently much lighter than those in Vector. While I know this was probably a deliberate aesthetic choice, the light blue link colour, 0088dd, is currently in violation of the W3C accessibility guidelines when used against any light backgrounds. Even against #FFF, the ratio is still 3.77:1, and needs to be 4.5:1. (I haven't tested the other colours.)

I would favour using all of the link colours used in Vector, or at least colours which are similarly dark, because the light colours make it unnecessarily difficult to use the same background colour for different links and plain text without violating the guidelines.

For the above patch, the blue in the style guide apparently gets us to 5.37, which is good enough for AA guidelines. Wouldn't want to read a lot of that, but for links we should be good now.

But honestly I hate it, this is still way too light to meaningfully work with.
