Nora: We really want to clean up the activities tab. In an effort to get the major gifts team to look at it and use it for emails, meeting notes, or tracking overall interaction with a major donor we were thinking that it would be AMAZING if we could get rid of the following since they are also recorded on other tabs and really add a lot of bulk:
- Contact Merged
- Contact Deleted by Merge
This way we are only really seeing anything we add manually and the automatic thank you emails.
I know that in a perfect world that the user would use the filter function at the top of the activities but I know that's just not the case here. I think it would be really helpful in getting the team to use Civi more to log donor interactions.
Let me know what you think and if it is possible!
Eileen: One possibility would be to have a report as a tab (which is what the address history tab is) instead. It might not have the number at the top though
