account creation captcha broken on structured-commons test system
Closed, ResolvedPublic3 Estimated Story Points

Description

Problem:
New accounts can't be created on https://structured-commons.wmflabs.org because of a broken captcha on https://structured-commons.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=Special:CreateAccount
The captcha box shows an error: "ERROR for site owner: Invalid domain for site key"

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Magnus gets an account (WMDE priority)
  • Account creation is un broken (for the WMF / sdoc team)

Event Timeline

It looks like this is on the "wikidata-federation" cloud project that I don't currently have access to.

https://tools.wmflabs.org/openstack-browser/project/wikidata-federation

I have removed the recaptcha because I'm pretty sure that we shouldn't be using that on labs.
It looks like spam bot accounts exist on there now anyway.
I have added the same QuestyCaptcha that we now have on the Wikibase registry

Magnus should now be able to create an account, but don't be able to.

I have also added the "Trusted" group, which people will need to be added to in order to edit.

@Lydia_Pintscher do you have an account that I should add so that you can add people?
Also, the same as the registry, people in the group and add other people to the group.

Confirmed, test account created:

Could someone please add that to "trusted", if necessary?
