Description

...it actually just happened...luckily, I have a bunch of tabs open so I closed a bunch - fast!

but for a moment, I did not exist in Phabricator. granted, I just got here and have not started anything.

I'd really like to find my images I uploaded via image uploader (forgot exact name, but that's where the big mess-up occured) - i hit restore instead of save, like a complete idiot.

@Necklacemaker Why do you use an archived Wiki-Loves-Monuments-Unused-images tag? Instead of just Wiki-Loves-Monuments ? Do you (really?) hate Umbrella?

Okay,
I am a little confused by your question...but this is what I was trying to
do - there is a photo contest going on concerning monuments, and I just
happen to have some pretty good pics of one in my town (Tacoma, WA) - but I
forgot the exact name and went fishing, so to speak, to find the name -
sometimes that brings me in weird places - I'll switch back and forth to
get to the right place, (which I did - I just have to keep re-opening it) -
it'll be the title of an almost complete image. not sure at all about the
umbrellas, though?
Elizabeth/necklacemaker

and by the way, just got my mail standard encrypted :)

okay, I'm going to add a real action (i think)- please find my images I submitted in early 2018...can I send a copy through here?

Aklapper changed the task status from Open to Stalled.Sep 7 2018, 9:56 AM

Hi @Necklacemaker.

Unfortunately this report lacks context and information. If you have time and can still reproduce the problem: Please add a more complete description to this report.

That means a clear list of specific steps to reproduce the situation, as little details sometimes matter, so that nobody needs to guess how you performed each step, describing actual results and expected results after performing the steps to reproduce.
You can edit the task description by clicking Edit Task.
Ideally, exact and clear steps to reproduce should allow any other person to follow these steps (without having to interpret those steps) and see the same results.

This might be about Wiki-Loves-Monuments but hard to tell without clear information and links.

Got it - thanks!
but really need to crash/sleep, it's 3 a.m.!

will return tomorrow!
thank you for all your help!

@Necklacemaker if you're looking for your own list of contributions, you can find it here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Necklacemaker

Phabricator is the right platform to file bug reports for technical problems.

If you have a question about the Wiki Loves Monuments photo competition (how, when, where), the best location would be https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments/Help_desk to ask.

Edit Settings (Necklacemaker) - okay, in this last setting, am I suppose
to totally delete my email and make up a new e-mail name? (that's what it
looks like, but it's a big step, so i want to make sure)
necklacemaker

I mean, it would be kinda crazy as everyone knows me by this email.

@Necklacemaker you should not have to publish your email at all. You already have an account on Wikipedia, and it has your email address confirmed.

I don't understand what is your question. What country are you based in? I'd like to put you in touch with the national organizers.

believe it or not, I'm just a sleep deprived American (idiot) who truly did
not mean to do that last action in phabricator. REALLY - why would I get
rid of the people that are helping piece together what I dissembled - my
only true excuse was at the time I was truly drugged up - I just had my
gall bladder removed, lovely painkillers - but do not use them and do any
serious online stuff! ...now I'm sleep deprived.

by the way, I do see you have some important/revised paperwork for me to
read/look over but 1. I can't seem to log in to that particular page. 2.
my very lovely browser (firefox) is driving me crazy with all the pop-up
issues - or whatever else it can throw me. but i hate chrome, so oh well.

but at least I did one thing correct :) - I now can see all your e-mails :)

If you provided context that might make things easier. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator describes what Wikimedia Phabricator is. Not everybody here is involved in WLM or knows what is what in WLM.

https://mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug explains how to structure a bug report in Phabricator: 1) Clear steps to reproduce, step by step. For example, nobody knows what "that particular page" is. 2) Actual outcome. 3) Expected outcome. Thanks.

Unfortunately closing this report as no further information has been provided. After you have provided all information asked for in the previous comment and if this still happens, please set the status of this report back to "Open" via the Add Action...Change Status dropdown. Thanks!

My apologies, but I'm getting over a concussion, so that's probably why you were wondering what my nationality was. I really do still need some assistance - for instance, do I need to make up a new name/title for Wiki? I suspect I do, it's just last time I was here I got a bit overwhelmed. - Sorry about that.

Necklacemaker

should I click 'Open/Needs Triage'?

God! I wasn't trying to take over everything, that's for sure...I thought
I was just entering a question! Is there anyway to get back to the
previous action?

@Necklacemaker
