This is the first version of the page, probably got into the first export, but was fixed on Sept. 10. Seems like it got stuck somewhere.

This is now showing A közkincs védelme, presumably thanks to @Krinkle running mwscript deleteEqualMessages.php --wiki fixcopyrightwiki --delete --lang-code='*'?

Yeah, the on-wiki edit was first, then it was applied to translatewiki, synced to git, and l10nupdate ran, and then my script run removed the now-redundant overrides.

Quite a lot of steps!

The translatewiki edit was Sept. 10, 9:15 UTC, the on-wiki edit was Sept. 11 10:10 (and apparently it wasn't deleted by Krinkle's running of the script either, even though MediaWiki now does see the correct message). So something is not working quite right there, or maybe I'm just misunderstanding the l10nupdate schedule.

A similar issue has been reported with the Estonian translation. The translation was changed on September 10, the code reflects the updated translation, but the wiki still shows the old value.

Krinkle triaged this task as Medium priority.Sep 17 2018, 11:48 PM

Closing for now as the issue appears to be obsolete. But we should look out for this in the future and if we see it again, capture the state first, so that we can investigate it later to find the bug.
